Observe. Think.React

It’s been a while since I shared my thoughts here.  Not like it matters.  Tumblr users tend to have short attention spans.  Goes to show what kind of attention span I have myself.  Anyway, there is a lot going on in the world today its difficult to keep track of.  

All I can say that no matter how much we try to “expose” all these politicans running for president to be “frauds”, the agenda will continue on.  In other words, it doesn’t matter if Barack Obama wins the reelection, or if Romney, Paul, or Gingrich win their party’s nomination, the agenda to push America into a fascist state will continue.  We are being distracted to argue with each other about which puppet would best suit to run the biggest corporation known to man.  

I’ve only been alive for 29 years on this Earth, I’ve been conscious of this world for 24 years, socially conscious for 10 years now and from what I have observed, as a human being, is that American politics is nothing more than WWE Pro Wrestling Monday night shows.  

You probably want an elaboration.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the basic pro wrestling formula, it works like this: There is one wrestler who is a “babyface” (one who is in touch with the fans), and there is the “heel” (one who doesn’t care about the fans but sometimes if the wrestler is charismatic enough will gain fans).  For weeks they argue with one another about how much they hate each other.  Their “feud” goes on for a couple of weeks and they have their big finale “fight” on a Pay Per View to “settle” their feud once and for all.  Fans of Pro Wrestling KNOW the match is predetermined and KNOW that these two wrestlers really don’t hate each other.  They KNOW they are paid to ACT like they hate each other in order for the fans to suspend their disbelief for the amount of time they are “wrestling” in the ring.  In the end of the match (In the backstage hidden away from the publics’ eye) they shake each other hands because they BOTH received a giant pay day for the match.  In reality, it’s the OWNER of the Wrestling Promotion who benefits the most financially.

This is what American politics have become.  We have the Democrats (The babyface) against the Republicans (The heels).  They both have their fair share of supporters (fans).  For months democrats and republicans argue with one another about how much they hate their policies (the feud).  This “feud” goes on for every four years until election time comes around (PPV fight) to “settle” it once and for all (You catching on here?).  Just like in the wrestling match, it doesn’t matter who wins or loses the election because it is the OWNERS of these politicians (bankers, corporations, oil tycoons, etc., etc.) who benefit the most financially. 

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE here in Tumblr can say otherwise.  Every four years we vote in the republicans because the democrats fucked up our country and four years later, we vote the Democrats back in because the republicans fucked up our country and the cycle goes on.  You notice a pattern?  No matter who wins the presidential election, the country has gotten WORSE.  No one can deny that no matter what ideological allegiance one may have.

So yeah Ron Paul is a closet racist, Gingrich cheated on both his wives while they were sick, Romney doesn’t know what the fuck he is doing, Barack Obama is nothing more than a hypocritical liar (Before all you Obamabots send me hate mail, I remember he promised to close Guantanamo Bay and yet singed the NDAA with a smile on his face), we are still being duped.  

We can sit behind our computers and tell each other how stupid we are because we believe a certain outlook, or hold certain opinions, rather than having a deep, dialectic interchange between each other.

Observe.  Think.  React.
